Ghost Stories Welcome

One story leads to another... start here then follow your imagination to your next short story...

It wasn't too warm  and it wasn't too cold that day on the beach but it was deserted... the wind howled... wait, was it the wind?
The air temperature didn't change but suddenly I felt cold. Where was the cold coming from? It felt as if I walked into a freezer. No, it wasn't a freezer. It was a hug, a cold, cold hug. Yes, I could feel the arms wrapeed around my shoulders. Tighter, the arms squeezed me. The breath left my body, no longer could I breathe in. I felt as if I were about to faint.
"JESSE!" my brother yelled at me from inside the cab of the truck. "Wake-up, we've got to go!"
I turned to face him. Having been suddenly released from the fridged grip, I called back to him, "What?"
"You've been standing there frozen like a statue, weirdo. We gotta go!"
I jumped over the fence rail and hopped into the truck. "Thanks Frank, for a second there I thought..."
"Thought what?"
"I was just stuck for a moment." I turned the key. The engine started right up. "The wind was so cold."
"There isn't any wind, Jesse."

You never know what you'll find waiting for you in deserted places...
